About Cloud Dash Twins

Cloud Dash Twins is a cooperative platformer about two sky-siblings who cannot reach the exit alone. One twin flips gravity to walk on the underside of platforms; the other rides wind currents. Every level is a small mechanical handshake: a switch that only exists on the ceiling, a gap only the wind-rider can cross, a button that must be held while the partner sprints for the door. Neither twin can finish a stage solo, which is the entire point.

The forty stages escalate gently from tutorial hand-holding to genuinely mean final-world puzzles that demand simultaneous, mirrored inputs from both players. Deaths are instant and consequence-free — you respawn at the last checkpoint together — so failure reads as comedy rather than punishment. Hidden collectible stars add optional goals for pairs who finish levels too fast.

Visually it is pastel clouds and soft synth music, and it loads fast enough to sneak a level into any gap in the day. A single-player mode swaps the second twin to simple AI, but the game is plainly at its best with two humans shouting instructions at each other.

How to play

Desktop Player 1: A/D move, W jump, S flip gravity. Player 2: ←/→ move, ↑ jump, ↓ ride wind. P pauses.
Mobile Left half controls Twin 1 (arrows + gravity button), right half controls Twin 2; works best propped between two players.

Tips & tricks

  1. Call your moves out loud — most co-op deaths here are two players solving different puzzles.
  2. Gravity-flipped players can hold buttons with their heads; stand on the flipped twin's floor to buy time.
  3. Wind currents recharge instantly, so the wind-rider can ferry items back and forth across wide gaps.
  4. Star routes usually require swapping roles — do not assume the runner must always run.

FAQ

Can Cloud Dash Twins be played solo?
Yes. A single-player mode hands the second twin to AI that follows you and presses buttons on command, but puzzle timing is clearly designed around two humans.
How many levels are there?
Forty stages across four worlds, plus optional star collectibles in every level. A relaxed pair finishes the campaign in two to three sittings.
Does progress save between sessions?
Progress is stored in your browser locally. Clearing site data or switching devices resets the campaign.
