About Space Buddy Rescue
Space Buddy Rescue is a zero-gravity co-op platformer about retrieving your drifting friend before the air runs out. One player pilots the rescue pod with gentle thrusters; the other plays the adrift astronaut, somersaulting off debris to steer. Every level is a timed collaboration — the astronaut can squeeze through cracks the pod cannot, the pod can carry fuel the astronaut cannot reach, and the exit only opens when both arrive together.
The physics is floaty in the good way: momentum persists, collisions are soft, and spinning out usually sends you drifting comedically into a wall rather than to your death. Twenty stations escalate from open-and-shut rescues to asteroid fields where the astronaut must surf debris while the pod threads the gaps. A pass-the-device solo mode challenges one player to clear rescue targets with both roles on a timer.
Runs are short, checkpoints are generous, and the retry loop is instant, which makes failed rescues funny rather than frustrating. It is browser-native, touch-friendly, and the rare co-op game where the weaker player can play the astronaut and still feel like the hero of every mission.
How to play

Tips & tricks
- The astronaut should always be moving — momentum is free in zero-g and stopping wastes air.
- Pod thrusters are stronger backward than forward; brake by flipping, not by reversing.
- Line the pod up with the exit before collecting the astronaut — the last ten seconds are about geometry.
- In asteroid fields, the debris drifts in lanes; call the lane changes before you make them.
